Sephiroth Cross-stitch by KirtyBird Sephiroth Cross-stitch by KirtyBird
^-^ Clearly, I'm a fan of Final Fantasy 7 and Sephiroth is my all-time favourite character ^-^ and as you can see, I took a common picture of him and turned it into a cross-stitch. This easily took several days or more worth of solid working hours to complete and has easily over 10,000 stitches. ^-^ But it was worth it!

If you go to my scraps gallery, you'll find the charts there and instructions on how to fit them together. ^-^ If you have any questions about the charts feel free to ask!

Wow. This is amazing! Did you transfer the image to stitches by eye, or did you edit the image on a computer? Either way, this is awesome.

Thanks! I had a computer programme to do it all for me, thank goodness! Except for a little bit of touching up removing the background.

I am...just totally blown away! The fact that you took the time to do this, and nailed it squarely on the head...simply saying that I am impressed just doesn't do it justice! :wow:

Well done, you! Kuds! :D

^-^; I had actually gone and deleted the chart but I made it back up again for you. I can't send you the chart file, but I think I can send readable screenshots of it and I'll try to piece it together exactly. I think it'd be best if I submitted them to dA in my scraps folder and you can get them from there. Is that alright?

That would be AWESOME! Thank you so much! Would you be able to send me a list of the colors you used? :) That would be really helpful.

thanks again! I LOVE Sephiroth and would love to make this. How long did this one take you?

I hope you enjoy it!

Using 18 stitch per inch aida (18 count), the piece of cloth I had was 18 X 16 inches, which gave me plenty of extra cloth so that it could be framed easily and pretty much however I liked. Just make sure that you do get 18 count aida otherwise you'll need a bigger piece of cloth. ^-^

Enjoy!

I'll certainly send you the colours. ^-^ I'll tack them on as a screenshot along with the chart, and of course their corresponding symbols for the chart.

This must have taken me... I think two months working fairly solidly on a regular basis (probably not every day); but this wasn't hard. I was having fun and I love Sephiroth too. ^-^

I can't crossstitch without damage to my fingertips.

XD Well... I don't know how you manage to damage your fingertips but then, I've never actually experienced any problems really with learning to cross-stitch. ^-^ My hard-core Grandma taught me, maybe that's why. ^-^;

Hehe, I'm... glad it amuses you. XD

Ooooohhhhh you SO have to do the undoable and teach me how to cross stitch sometime! *makes puppy eyes* pwetty pwease?

Boy does this cross stitch look awesome though! Nehehehe I could use some of that hair gel (can you imagine what I would look like if my hair could defy gravity like that :XD: I have a LOT of hair for it! though I must say Emi's would take the cake  ) *breaks off one of Sephiroth's bangs and runs away with it* :XD:

Nice job Kirty! :glomp: (you must be soooooooo happy that it's finally done  )
